| The 2004 Chattanooga Half Marathon Course Start at The Sports Barn - run north across Market Street Bridge. Turn right (east) on to Frazier Ave After Coolidge Park go right (south) on to Walnut Street Bridge. After crossing the bridge and continue on Walnut Street until 6th Street Turn right (west) on to 6th St. Go 2 blocks until Market St. Turn right (north) on to Market Street – continue on Market Street until you reach the Sports Barn and 3rd St. |
| Turn right (east) on to 3rd Street. Stay on 3rd for 7 blocks until Houston St. Turn right (south) on to Houston and stay on Houston for 3 blocks. Turn left (east) on to Vine. Stay on Vine for 1 long block to Douglas Turn left (north) on to Douglas. Stay on Douglas until East 5th. Turn left (starts east and then curves to the north) on East 5th St. E. 5th becomes Mabel St. From Mabel you come to The River Walk (in front of the Manker Pattan Tennis Center) |
| Take the River Walk and stay on it until you come to the Boat House Restaurant Turn right on to Riverside Dr./Amnicola Hwy. (part of old course) then go left into the Tennessee Industrial Park – through the Industrial Park back on to Riverside Dr./Amnicola Hwy and back Over the same path until you get back to Mabel St. Exit the River Walk on to Mabel St. until you reach 3rd St. |
| Turn right (west) on 3rd St. Stay on 3rd St. until Walnut St. (6 blocks) Turn left (south) on to Walnut St. Stay on Walnut St. until 6th St. (3 blocks) Turn right (west) on to 6th St. Stay on 6th until Market St. (2 blocks) Turn right (north) on to Market St. Stay on Market St. and cross the bridge. Turn right (east) on to Frazier Ave. (yes you’ve been here before) Stay on Frazier until the Walnut St. Bridge |
| Turn right (south) on to the bridge. After the bridge stay on Walnut St. until 6th St. Turn right (east) on to 6th St. Stay on 6th St. until Market St. Turn right (north) on to Market St. Finish: This is the home stretch and the finish line is 3 blocks north at the Sports Barn. |
